Welcome to Scipo-Farmácia

Scipo-Farmácia is a suite of software tools to assist students in their writing scientific papers in English. It is aimed for the Pharmaceutical Sciences, and was based on Scipo, the system targeted to computer science students in their writing of abstracts and introductions.

Here you will find help to structure your paper according to established practices from the literature in scientific writing, in addition to being able to consult the database containing real examples of the various sections of a paper in topics of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The latter were selected from the literature following procedures from the analysis of discourse of academic writing.

In order to start writing an Abstract, select the option Abstracts from the menu at the top.
To start an Introduction, select the option Introductions
To start a section on Methodology (Materials and Methods), select the option Methods
To start a section of Results, select the option Results
To start the Discussion section, select the option Discussion
To start the Conclusion, select the option Conclusion
